Terms of Service
Effective date: 12 September 2026 (previous version: 15 August 2026)
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plagit mobile application (the "App"), operated by PLAGIT INNOVATIONS FZ-LLC, a Free Zone Limited Liability Company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ), with registered office at SFF00136, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates ("Plagit", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service
Plagit is a platform that connects hospitality professionals ("Candidates") with venues, employers and staffing agencies ("Businesses" and "Agencies") for job discovery, applications, messaging and calls, shift scheduling and attendance tracking (OnTime), and a professional community feed. Plagit is a technology platform: unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Plagit is not a party to any employment or engagement between Candidates and Businesses, and does not guarantee any job, hire, worker, shift outcome or payment between users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for the activity on your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account (see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data).
4. Roles and responsibilities
- Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, CV and availability.
- Businesses/Agencies are responsible for the accuracy of their venue details, job posts, shift schedules and for complying with all applicable labour, immigration and tax obligations for any engagement they enter into. OnTime records assist time tracking but the employment relationship, compensation and its settlement remain exclusively between the parties involved.
5. User content and conduct
You retain ownership of the content you post (profile, CV, messages, media, community posts). You grant Plagit a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, display and transmit that content solely to operate the App. You must not post or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, infringing, or that discloses someone else's personal data without their consent; you must not spam, scam, impersonate others, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation. Plagit has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Every user can report a Community post or a chat message directly in the App, and can block any other user; a block hides you from each other in the Community, chat, calls and discovery. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team and we act on objectionable content within 24 hours: offending content is removed and the user who provided it is warned, suspended or permanently removed from the App. We may also remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts at any time to enforce these rules. To report abuse you can also write to info@plagit.com, which is also reachable from Settings → Help & Support in the App.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Optional paid features (Plagit Premium) are sold exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase, under Apple's payment terms. Prices are shown before purchase; subscriptions renew and are cancelled through your Apple ID settings. Except where required by law, refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, trademarks and software are owned by Plagit or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use them beyond the normal use of the App.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plagit disclaims all implied warranties and does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the conduct, suitability, qualifications or performance of any user, Candidate, Business or Agency.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plagit shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, business, data or goodwill arising from the use of the App, including disputes between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or risk to other users, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature survive (5, 7, 8, 9, 11) survive termination.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable regulations of Ras Al Khaimah. Exclusive venue: the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; the current version is always published at this page with its effective date. Material changes take effect after publication; continued use constitutes acceptance.
13. Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy (https://legal.plagit.com/privacy-policy.html), which is a separate document.
